We were honored to welcome members of the Cinema Audio Society to our January 2025 LAPPG meeting where we discussed Intelligibility in Film and Television. Our moderator for the evening was Marc Fishman, CAS and our panelists included Alexandra Fehrman, CAS, Bob Bronow, CAS/MPEG and Jon Greasly, CAS/MPEG. After learning about loudness and loudness measuring at the beginning from Jon Greasly, the rest of the panel was spent exploring different experiences and reasons why intelligibility is a hot button issue for so many viewers these days. We want to offer a big thank you this incredibly knowledgeable and talented group CAS members.
