Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Classroom in a Book – By Adobe Creative Team

Reviewed By: Justin Rodriguez

Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Classroom In A Book Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Classroom in a Book is probably the best way of learning Dreamweaver CS5 without taking a class or purchasing expensive DVD’s.  The book is broken down into several step-by-step lessons with color pictures throughout.  It comes with a DVD that has all the lesson files you’ll need to work along, and a couple bonus video tutorials.

I had no previous experience in web design.  Dreamweaver is bundled with the CS5 Master Suite, so I thought it would be a good idea to learn it and revamp my webpage.  This book is by no means an exhaustive reference, but it will bring you from point A (being daunted by all of Dreamweaver’s menus and buttons) to point B (able to comfortably navigate the Dreamweaver workspace and create a website from scratch).  You’ll even develop an understanding of HTML and CSS along the way.

There are a few typos throughout the book, but I think most people will notice and correct them on their own.  Despite that, Dreamweaver CS5 Classroom in a Book taught me exactly what I’d hoped it would, and I’ll definitely use the Classroom in a Book series again for any other Adobe software I need to learn.
