This month AbelCine marks 25 years of supporting filmmakers with the tools of their craft. Known for unique hands-on service to the production community, the company offers cine and digital equipment sales, rental, finance, and systems integration–backed by renowned equipment service and training.
To celebrate, AbelCine opens the doors of its Burbank facility on Saturday, October 18 from 10am to 5pm for an anniversary event featuring: industry discussions and seminars, as well as raffles, refreshments and a great opportunity to connect with colleagues.
Throughout the day, working professionals will present demos and panels offering valuable insights into their personal experiences working in the field with some of the latest technologies. Guests can also participate in smaller breakout sessions to demystify advanced technology topics, and they can get their hands on the latest gear in the AbelCine showroom. Plus AbelCine will offer special deals on overstock, demo and pre-owned gear.
What’s more, there will be a silent auction, as well as free prizes donated by manufacturers including Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Freefly Systems, Miller, Innerspace Cases, Switronix, K-Tek and other top brands. For a fun twist, guests can see what they look like in being filmed in slow motion 4K in the Phantom Photo Booth.
