It was great having OWC back visiting us this month. Sharing a comprehensive presentation on Hybrid Production Workflows for 2021 and Beyond, Chief Workflow Archtect Sam Mestman and Senior Workflow Engineer Steven Niedzielski laid out the playing field for us so we could see the different options and workflows being used now and in the future depending on how people were working. We learned about Jellyfish, OWC’s video workflow server designed for small, medium, and large-sized post-production teams that need to simultaneously work off the same footage as well as many of their other products including the new Envoy Pro SX Thunderbolt SSD a super-fast, super-durable workflow superhero which easily handles all storage and backup challenges. One of our lucky members, Aaron Phares won one of these Envoy’s thanks to the generosity of OWC! The session ended with Sam and Steven expertly answering the many questions from our members. We also announced the passing of our dear friend and LAPPG presenter and member Dan Kneece. Dan was a legendary Steadicam Operator, Director of Photography, and longtime collaborator with David Lynch. He will be missed by all.
Thank You For Everything
