Nick Harauz
Nick Harauz is the director of product marketing at Boris FX, a leading developer of visual effects software for film, TV, and video. With over 19 years of experience as a certified trainer for Adobe, Avid, and Final Cut Pro, he is an expert in post-production workflows and techniques and a passionate advocate for creativity and innovation. You can find several courses produced by Nick directly on LinkedIn Learning.
At Boris FX, Harauz helps lead the content marketing strategy and execution for Continuum, the award-winning suite of plugins for editors and motion graphics artists. Nick also hosts Boris FX’s Flow State Stories from the Creative Process, where he interviews video editing, motion graphics, and VFX artists about their craft. Harauz has a BA in Sociology and Film Studies from the University of Toronto and has worked as a video editor for clients such as Proctor and Gamble, Virgin Mobile, and Blackberry. He has also directed and filmed celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Richard Branson and co-edited the documentary My Father and the Man in Black.
