We were thrilled to welcome Avid’s Pro-Audio Solutions Specialist, for the Americas, Christopher Mallamaci to our September meeting and boy did he impress! He showed us the efficiency of Media Composer and Pro Tools interoperability and how we can create sound-to-picture with Pro Tools Ultimate. We then got a tour on how we can design using Avid’s PlayCell, GrooveCell, and SynthCell all to a clip from “The Orville” courtesy of the editorial team at Fuzzy Door Productions. It was certainly an ear opening meeting for the audiophiles among us and we can’t wait to hear what else is heading our way from Avid!
