We're Back....
In Person That Is! (for March)

Join us for our first in-person meeting in 3 years! We are thrilled to have the chance to bring everyone together again at the amazing ZEISS Cine Lens Demo Center! Details below…

Integrating Lens Metadata into a Visual Effects Workflow
&
ZEISS Cinema Lens Demo Center Tour

The successful integration of Lens Metadata into the Visual Effects Production pipeline is not yet fully realized. With new tools, techniques and a bit of R&D, we are about to see some fascinating developments that allow creatives to emulate better backgrounds, foregrounds, AR objects and overlays. The results are more accurate, more realistic and closer to what audiences expect. Learn how Lens Metadata is quickly becoming a way for filmmakers to get the “look” right, when it comes to visual effects workflows.

March’s meeting will be held at the ZEISS Cinema Lens Demo Center, which serves as a home for both the cinematographer and visual effects artist. The Demo Center offers cinematographers and filmmakers the opportunity to handle and test the latest in ZEISS lens technology by offering the ability to demo a thorough selection of ZEISS Lenses on several camera formats, as well as utilizing their CinCraft Mapper software. The facility has a 9-seat 4K HDR theater, a full editorial suite with DaVinci Resolve and Nuke software, and the bay equipped GECKO-PRO technology lens projection and a fully furnished prep bay.
