Join LAPPG for our last meeting of the year where we think about those in need in our community at our 9th Annual Food Drive and to make it even more special, we will have our friends from ADOBE in the house! Plus, we’ll be enjoying some holiday treats, our famous holiday giveaway thanks to our amazing partners, extra networking time to make connections for the new year, plus, there may even be some special “seasonal” guests dropping by to give out some extra goodies from the LAPPG giveaway cabinet!

Join Adobe Master Trainer and Emmy award winner, Christine Steele as she covers new features available in Adobe video and audio tools, including the Freeform panel and Auto Reframe in Premiere Pro, Content-Aware Fill in After Effects (in case you have seen that magic!), and much more. This is a great opportunity to get up to speed what’s new, and get answers to the questions you bring.

It’s that time of year again where we think about those who may need a little extra helping hand. Please bring non-perishable food items to our meeting and help us fight hunger! All donations will benefit the Westside Food Bank (and you’ll earn some extra changes to win prizes in our giveaway!)

The following are the types of food Westside Food Bank needs: (no glass please, except for baby food.)

Please make sure that all food donated has not been opened if it is not individually wrapped, and that the inner packaging is still intact. Please, no expired food.

Cans of:
• Tuna, Vegetables, and Soup
• Fruits and Fruit Juices
• Pork & Beans
• Stews & Other Meats

Packaged Foods:
• Pasta, Lentils, Pinto and other beans.
• Macaroni & Cheese & Packaged Dinners
• Instant Soups
• Hot and Cold Cereals
• Peanut Butter & other Nut Butters
• Nutritional Bars: protein, granola, energy or breakfast bars

Baby foods are also urgently needed. Sadly, two thousand babies and toddlers are without adequate nutrition each day right here on the Westside of Los Angeles. We want to help them receive the nutrition they need to grow and develop into strong and healthy children. We now have a special section at our warehouse devoted exclusively to infant and toddler nutrition so that our member agencies have easy access to the foods that are so vital to the health and well-being of the children in our community.

Please consider collecting the following items:
• Infant formula
• Jar foods – all flavors and stages
• Crackers, teething biscuits, and cookies
• Raisins & fruit snacks
• Juices: jars, cans, pouches and boxes
• Infant and children’s cereals

**For each item you bring up to the first 10 you will receive a ticket for our very popular monthly giveaway. You are of course welcome to bring as much as you are able to!**

We’ll have some festive snacks and tons of special holiday giveaways worth thousands of dollars as well as some extra time to network! Come end the year with a bang at this Holiday Meeting!
