Adobe announced a new feature coming soon to Premiere Pro: Auto Reframe. You can watch a demo or 
read more about it, but in short… Using Adobe Sensei (AI) technology, Auto Reframe intelligently determines the point of interest in your content, reframes and reformats your video for different aspect ratios – from square to vertical to cinematic 16:9 versions – all with a simple drag and drop effect. In addition, Adobe has committed to include support for ProRes RAW in one of our upcoming releases and we’re excited to bring popular codecs for professional post-production workflows.
