We celebrated summer with a little soiree which included summertime treats – watermelon and ice cream treats, a carnival game and free Audio Network bags for everyone! Perfect to hit the beach!  It was great to have Audio Network’s Ali Johnson, Global Head of Music and Jonathan Lane, Manager Music Licensing, TV come and bring us up to speed with their world class music offerings.  Plus, we learned a lot about the world of music licensing which brought up many questions and members were thrilled get answers! After the break we enjoyed a presentation from our friend from AOTG, Gordon Burkell who spoke about freelancing, social media and the power of community in finding work. It was packed with practical and effective ideas and strategies for us to keep ourselves on employer’s radars.  What a great way to wrap up the Summer!
