EditShare Senior Workflow Specialist Kevan O’Brien demonstrated how EditShare’s shared storage, Flow media asset management, and Ark backup and archiving tools make production environments more productive and creative than ever before. Kevan brought along IMAX Editorial Supervisor Matt Scott to give us a user’s perspective.
Then Supervising Sound Editor and LAPPG’s own Woody Woodhall, CAS gave us a rare look at the audio post process for reality television. Woody gave us a detailed look by breaking down the steps he takes from receiving the audio through sound editing, sweetening, mixing, outputs and delivering to network specs. The audience had tons of questions and were thrilled that he laid out his process so clearly for everyone.
