Virtual Reality 101
LAPPG member, colorist and finishing artist Jason Bowdach will give us a basic introduction to VR and its use as a tool for filmmaking. He will discuss some of the creative challenges of working with a 360 environment, along with the technical requirements for working with this evolving new medium.
Jason Bowdach is owner of Cinetic Studios, a color and finishing studio based in Los Angeles, California. He works on a variety of content ranging from feature films, television, and new media, such as VR. He also shares his skills through consultation, tutorials, live presentations, and written articles focusing on post production workflows, techniques, and strategies.
