New KUMO v2.0 Firmware Update Available!
Firmware v2.0 adds Grass Valley Native Protocol support to KUMO 1616 and KUMO 1604 routers via RS-422 and Ethernet connectivity, allowing for more integration with hardware such as production switchers and automation systems.

Note: Existing KUMO routers will require an adapter to allow proper RS-422 control (part# 104521-00).
Existing KUMO routers have a model number ending in “R0”. The model number is on the bottom of the KUMO chassis, on the bar-coded label (“KUMO-1616-R0” or “KUMO-1604-R0”). Newer KUMO routers have a model number ending in an “R1” and do NOT require the adapter.
