Manhattan’s premier destination for professional photographic equipment, Foto Care, held an Education & Networking Series event on September 28th. The panel discussion included award-winning directors of photography Wolfgang Held ASC, Matt Porwoll, Martina Radwan and was moderated by Producer/Director David Leitner. Over sixty filmmakers from New York attended the sold-out community event supported by Fujifilm to learn from these top cinematographers and to connect with other filmmakers.
Wolfgang Held, ASC is known for lensing projects such as The Andy Warhol Diaries, This Stolen Country of Mine, and the brand-new Joan Baez documentary, I Am a Noise. Matt Porwoll has shot Cartel Land, The Trade, and Once Upon A Time in Uganda. Martina Radwan’s work includes The Final Year, Saving Face, and Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow; and David Leitner has served as Producer, Director or DP on films including For All Mankind, Vienna is Different: 50 Years After the Anschluss, and Particle Fever.
