As becoming an online influencer has emerged as a main goal for the younger generation, the need for professional training has never been more evident. Vlog University will focus on three main components of success: producing visually compelling video content, generating followers, and the monetization of your online channel.
The core of the program features Justine Ezarik, the industry-leading influencer. Justine will teach marketing workshops with how-to-tips and techniques on how to aggregate followers and build a successful channel. Training sessions will also cover topics such as writing scripts, budgeting, setting up your studio, video editing techniques, and an overview on selecting the right gear, work stations, and cameras. We will also have unique panel discussions led by Apple and YouTube! YouTube Content Creator Strategist, Kyle Monahan, will discuss strategic best practices and performance tools for posting online content.
All training sessions for the Vlog University Conference will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. All sessions are open to attendees 14 years of age and older. Attendees younger than 18 years old will need to sign a waiver or attend with a chaperone who is at least 18 years old. Passes also include a recording package for those who can’t travel to the venue or would like to review sessions after their stay at the event.
