What a great night at Roth Hall! For our February meeting members piled in to hear about the latest Creative Trends for 2018 from Jon-Paul Harrison, Shutterstock’s Business Development Manager, Entertainment. It turns out that space, cactus, fantasy (including unicorns and mermaid) and ancient geometric patterns are among those topping the list this year. JP’s entertaining and informational presentation left us inspired to see what trends we’ll notice ourselves this year. Then after the networking break we learned about how to shoot a short schedule indie feature with in demand Director of Photography Dan Kneece. Using his experience shooting three of these last year, Dan detailed various steps he took to insure success with a limited shooting schedule. After Dan wrapped his informative presentation we held our ever popular giveaway including access to Shutterstcok’s incomparable image library up to $2,000! It was an awesome evening for all!
