April’s standing room only meeting featured Tony Orcena, editor of Modern Family who came to discuss his workflow for this technologically complicated episode called “Connection Lost” which all takes place on character Claire’s laptop and is shot with Apple devices. It was fascinating to hear the details of what went into creating this groundbreaking episode. After our networking break we welcomed our friend Tina Eckman from Blackmagic Design who impressed us the fabulous new products that they announced at NAB. There were many “oohs and aahs” when she showed URSA mini, especially as well as he new features on DaVinci Resolve.
